Another important feature of the SolRx 1000 Series Full Body Panel is that
the bulbs are as close to the floor as absolutely possible,
minimizing the need for you to stand on a platform to treat the lower portion of your legs.
Most competitive units are raised up much higher from the floor,
making a platform almost mandatory for many people.

This picture shows that the dimension from the bottom of the fluorescent tube glass to the
floor is only about 2 inches.

|

The bottom of the unit has four heavy duty rubber bumpers to rest on the floor.
It is acceptable for the device to rest on a carpeted floor.

|

The device uses a standard 3-prong grounded wall outlet available in most homes in North America.
(120 Volts AC, 60 Hertz, single phase, NEMA 5-15P plug)
There are no special electrical requirements.

|

The device is usually mounted flat-to-wall using the two brackets shown.
Two screws and two drywall anchors are supplied to make the connection.
It is not necessary that the screws be fastened to a wall stud since the unit's weight is
entirely on the floor.
The brackets basically only keep the unit from falling forward.
It is important that they be installed.

|

The mounting brackets are permanently fastened to the top of the unit at the back,
and are simply rotated into position when needed.
The device can also be mounted in a corner using the mounting brackets on the angled
portion of the endplate.

|

The device is hand assembled using plated machine screws with nylon insert locknuts wherever possible.
These locknuts ensure that the joints stay tight and the unit retains rigidity.
The device is shipped fully assembled.

|

The result is a durable product with compact dimensions and reasonable weight.
One person can normally handle the unit,
grasping it from behind as shown.
However, it is preferred that two persons handle it, one at each end.
If care is taken, the device can be moved with the bulbs in place.

Physician approval / prescription is required for all ultraviolet home phototherapy device and UV bulb orders.
