Two Narrowband UVB bulbs are much better than one !
The SolRx 100 Series is the only device that uses TWO (2) PL-S9W bulbs. Compared to single bulb units, the 100 Series provides DOUBLE the input power and DOUBLE the treatment area. This helps reduce the treatment times required by modern Narrowband-UVB phototherapy.

The SolRx 100 Series has a more useful treatment area shape than single bulb units.
Two bulbs also provide a much more useful treatment area shape. The SolRx 100 Series has a treatment area of 2.5" x 5", or 12.5 square inches. (2:1 length to width) Single bulb units are too long and narrow, roughly only 1" wide by 5" long. (5:1 length to width)

This unretouched photo shows a SolRx 120UVB-NB along side a competitor's single bulb unit. Not only is the treatment area at least two-times larger and its shape more useful, but the Irradiance at the recommended treatment distance is significantly higher on the 120UVB-NB, by as much as 2 to 3 times ! Together that nominally equates 5 times greater power delivery.

The wand is easy to hold and its all-metal housing keeps the device cool.
The wand is shaped so it is easy to hold, and the aluminum housing keeps the device cool to the touch. With two bulbs it weighs only 1.2 pounds (545 grams). Its overall dimensions are 3.5" wide, 7.25" long and 2.25" deep.

Rest the wand on its end for hand-free treatment of the elbows.
For hands-free operation, the wand can be safely positioned on a surface several different ways. Here, for example, with the wand resting on its end for treatment of elbow psoriasis.

The wand can also be rested on its side.
Here is another way to treat the elbows, with the wand resting on its side. The competitor's units all have shapes that demand they be held in your hand. This can make long treatment sessions more difficult, especially if they only have one bulb !

Or position the wand so it is facing up. There are many treatment possibilities.
Yet another position for treating the elbows, with the wand resting on its back and the bulbs pointing face up. There are many, many treatment possibilities.

The wand is beautifully designed.
The wand is truly beautiful. With its clear anodized aluminum main housing and stainless steel endplates and fasteners, it is obviously a high quality product built to last.
